We're here to help make each step toward becoming a Lincoln Lion a smooth experience. Follow the steps below to apply to become a first-year student at Lincoln University.
You should apply as a freshman if you are currently attending high school, home-school, or have received a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) but have not enrolled at a college/university.
Apply online using the Lincoln Admissions Application, Common Application or the Common Black College Application. You must submit only one application to be considered for admission. There is no cost to apply through Lincoln's application..
Transcript: Submit your transcript for all high school coursework that you have completed. If applicable, college coursework should also be submitted. You may upload your transcript directly through your chosen admissions application portal.
To be admitted, you will, at minimum, need the following high school record:
Note: An official final high school transcript demonstrating satisfactory academic progress and high school completion is required prior to enrollment.
Standardized Test Scores: Request to have your official ACT or SAT scores sent directly to Lincoln. Or, you can upload an unofficial pdf copy of the standardized test scores directly through the Lincoln application portal. Unofficial scores must include your name, address, and date of birth.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) School Code: 2367
American College Test (ACT) School Code: 3614
Note: Although application materials can be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions via postal mail or fax, we encourage and prefer the electronic submission of required documents.
We get it: after applying, you'll be eager to know if you’ve been accepted. Don’t worry if you don’t hear right away: it can take up to 5-7 business days during our peak season (October – February) for processing supplemental documents. To view any missing supplemental items and to review your admission status, please access your Lincoln application portal. After an admissions representative has reviewed your application and materials, a decision letter will be available for review in the application portal. You will also receive an email when your decision is available for viewing.
You may schedule a virtual appointment with your admissions counselor if you have any questions about navigating the admissions process.
